My turnaround time as of May 31st - will be at least 10 business days before orders are worked on and sent out! I am getting married on June 8th and will not be working on orders between May 31-June 10. Please place any orders needed before June by May 31st!
Currently orders are shipping out within 7-10 business days. (this processing time does not include weekends, holidays or shipping time)
Larger orders may take longer to complete and get sent out.
-Processing times may vary around holidays, so it is always best to order your gift items in advance, as delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
-If for any reason the item you ordered is out of stock or otherwise delayed, we will notify you via email.
-Please also check your email after placing your order, to make sure we haven't tried to contact you with questions. The sooner you get back to us the sooner we can get to your order & have it sent out to you.
What kind of payments do you accept?
ThePreppyPolkaDot.com accepts secure online payments through Paypal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to place your order. You can simply enter your credit card info into the secure site.
Alternative payment methods include: Personal or Business check, Money order or Cash payments. Please email me at email@example.com if you would like to mail in your payment. You will need to print off the shopping cart page with your order and send that to me along with your chosen payment. Once I receive your payment I will deposit it and then once it clears my bank your order will be worked on then sent out in a timley manor.
Can you be reached by telephone?
We are a small company and field hundreds of inquiries each month which makes it virtually impossible to offer telephone inquiries. However, our site is loaded with tons of information, FAQ's, as well as information on each product listing. We will be happy to answer all inquiries via email, and will do so within one business day.
What are your products personalized with? Will they last a long time?
All of our items are created with custom cut (by us) vinyl decals. We use high quality outdoor grade vinyl that is made to withstand sun, rain, etc..With normal use and recommended hand washing for all of our items they will last a very long time.We advise you to use water & just a touch of soap to clean. Use your best judgment & treat the decal as if it was hand painted. (Basically, don't scrub or use harsh cleansers.)
Do you seal or glaze personalization to prevent the vinyl from pealing?
No, all items are personalized with high quality outdoor grade vinyl that is made to withstand outdoor elements. There isn't any need to seal them.
Do you sell wholesale?
At this time we are a retail only webstore.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
All regular orders are created & sent out within 5-7 business days of personalization info received. Please check your email after placing your order in case we have a question. The sooner you respond the sooner we can get to work on your order & get it out to you.
Large orders will be created & sent out within 10 business days of being placed as long as all info has been given.
Where do you buy your items? Do you use a cricut?
We get lots of emails asking about where we buy our products and our equipment. We do not give out that information. I will say that we use an actual cutter, not a cricut. I have spent MANY hours researching & finding sources for my items and it wouldn't be fair to me to tell where everything comes from.
Do you ship Internationally?
At this time we only ship within the United States.
How do I order a monogram?
It's best to give the full name when ordering a monogram so we are sure to place the initials in the correct order.
Traditional Monogram order is:
First Initial, Last Name Initial, Middle or Maiden Initial.
A Couples Monogram traditionally would be:
His Initial, Last Name Initial, Her Initial.
What is your Refund & Cancellation policy?
Since all our items are custom made for you, our return policy is very simple.
Returns and Refunds are not available on orders. Please keep in mind that all orders are custom made and may vary slightly from piece to piece.
Cancellations or changes are only available if production has not started on your item.
You must notify us within 3 days of receiving the items that The Preppy Polka Dot has made errors. We do not issue refunds or credits on shipping charges.
If we make a mistake on an item, we will gladly exchange the gift for you with the same item or store credit. Since our items are all personalized and created just for you, refunding money is not an option.
If you make a mistake, the item is yours to keep. Please be confident before you make your purchase and make sure your monograms are entered correctly. Always email us if you have any questions.
We do our best to ask you any questions necessary before we complete your orders. Not everything catches our attention, though, particularly if the monograms were entered incorrectly. We have no way of knowing that information, so just ask if you have any questions.
Your privacy is important to us. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone.
